The Swachh Bharat Fellowship (SBF) is a Samagra initiative.
SBF is a multidisciplinary immersion programme designed as a two-year residential course which will help an individual to understand and impact socio-development space in various aspects. The fellowship brings attention towards the various factors that influence the underprivileged urban population of our country. Bright young minds with leadership potential and far sighted intellectual abilities are welcomes to be a part of this revolutionary fellowship that will train and mold them to become a socially committed agent for change.
Individuals who intend to be a committed change agent will be selected through a rigorous screening process to become the Swachh Bharat Fellows. The fellowship is designed to create selfless leaders for tomorrow.
The fellowship fosters a multidisciplinary perspective towards different activities like team building, operations management, problem solving, analytics and validation and much more under the professional execution of the company’s model.
About the organizer:
Samagra Sanitation is the first for-profit social enterprise in India that is dedicated to providing access to clean, safe, and reliable community toilet facilities for the urban slum-dwelling poor.
Samagra has collaborated with Swachh-Bharat Abhiyaan, Dasra, The Bill and melinda Gates Foundation and Tata Trust to effectively deliver the Swachh-Bharat Fellowship in Pune in the first year of its implementation.
Applications open: October – November every year
Stipend: ₹. 15000/- and accomodation
Eligibility:
A recognized under-graduate or post-graduate degree
Selection Process:
The evaluation process is exhaustive encompassing screening of applications, followed by telephonic and personal interviews which tests one for logical reasoning, critical thinking, moral reasoning and communications skills.
