The annual program gives one psychologist an opportunity to spend a year at the Geneva-based World Health Organization (WHO) in the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse working on one or more issues related to the WHO Mental Health Action Plan.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a member of APA.

Psychologists at all career levels with demonstrated research experience and leadership in at least one of the areas related to the Mental Health Action Plan’s objectives are encouraged to apply.

Monetary Support

Funding for the fellowship will provide supplemental funds of $30,000 for living expenses in Geneva as well as fellowship-related travel.
