TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is an American set of conferences run by the private non profit organization, Sapling foundation, under the slogan “Ideas Worth Spreading”. The event has inspiring talks from anyone who has an idea worth spreading and is very popular. The talks cover a wide range of general topics and have something to offer for everyone. TEDx are similar events organized by independent organizations who obtain a license from TED.
