Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra 2023-24

Brief Description:

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, the Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to the students studying at the graduate and postgraduate level. The scholarship aims to provide financial support to students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category of Maharashtra. The selected students will receive up to 100% tuition fees and exam fees.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

be a domicile of Maharashtra
be pursuing a professional or non-professional course approved by the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at a government or government-aided university/college
have taken admission under the General or Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category
have an annual family income of up to ₹ 8,00,000

The following applicants are ineligible to apply for this scheme:

Students who are availing benefits of any scholarship or stipend.
Students who have taken admission in distance learning, virtual learning, and part-time courses.

Note:-

Applicants belonging to Maharashtra and Karnataka state border can apply for the scheme.
The courses approved by the government/university/AICTE, PCI/COA/MCI/NCTE/ etc. are eligible under this scheme.

Gap-related document (in case of gap)
Family declaration certificate about two children

Marksheet of the previous year
