NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY EXAMINATION:
Qualification- 10th and 12th
Four year training which culminates a graduation degree from Jawarhalal Nehru University. Three year training is followed by one year professional training at Indian Military Academy for the army, Naval Academy for the Indian Navy and Air force academy for the Air Force. Selection Process The UPSC conducts the NDA and Naval Academy examination twiceevery year usually in the months of April and September
Eligibility :
Only Unmarried male candidates of Age group 17 to 19 years are eligible to take examination for NDA/Army.
Educational qualification: For Army and Air Force wing at NDA 12th pass

Educational Qualification for naval academy- B.SC physics and Mathematics or B.E
Air Force- A degree with Mathematics/physics equivalent
Age Limit : Minimum age is 18 years

WOMEN OFFICERS IN INDIAN ARMED FORCES
Contract period is for five years
Age limit is 21 to 27 years
Physical measurements- should not be less than 36kgs and 142 cmss respectively
