Khan Academy India Talent Search

About Competition: Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan with a goal of creating an accessible place for people to be educated. The organization produces short lectures in the form of YouTube videos. They have recently launched the talent search in India with an aim to make videos that are relevant to the Indian context.


  • Indian residents above 18 years of age

Rules and Regulations:

The video has to be in English or Hindi covering one of the following subjects

  • Mathematics (Std VI to XII)
  • Physics (Std IX to XII)
  • Chemistry (Std IX to XII)
  • Biology (Std IX to XII)

The list of recommended topics from these subjects that can be covered in the videos can be found here.

Deadline: 12th December

  • ₹. 1,00,000/- cash prize
  • Will be considered for a longer-term video creation contract with Khan Academy.
  • The top 10 finalists will have their videos published on the website and get a chance to interact with Sal Khan, the founder
