The FAEA is an initiative by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) that provides financial assistance to students from the economically disadvantaged section, for undergraduate studies.
The Foundation is committed to the idea of education devoted to the founding of a just, productive and cultured society. It emphasizes the equality of opportunity help students with what they want to become so that they have a choice and are not dictated by necessity. Is it committed to enabling economically disadvantaged groups to access to be able to study in those institutions, which give access to academic excellence, structures of power and economic opportunity. It is also committed to supporting all activities and institutions which provide student better experience of excellence in all field.

Eligibility Criteria
Students belonging to the economically weaker section in the SC/ST/BPL category, who have passed class 12th or are in their first year of college can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Amount
The Scholarship covers the total cost of the study of the student, so it varies.

Number of Scholarships
50 students are offered this scholarship every year.

Application Time
Application starts in May/June every year

Students from any stream or course are eligible for this scholarship and it also covers a wide range of expenses such as tuition fee, hostel fee, maintenance allowance, books etc.
