DRDO-DRDL Hyderabad ITI Apprenticeship 2024

Brief Description:

DRDO-DRDL Hyderabad ITI Apprenticeship 2024 is a one-year training program offered by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) at its Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) in Hyderabad, India. The selected trainees will receive a stipend as per the Government of India notifications.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

belong to the one of the below specified trade and possess the corresponding qualification:

Trades	Qualification
Fitter	ITI pass in respective trades
Turner
Machinist
Machinist(Grinder)
Carpenter
Welder
Electrician
Diesel Mechanic
Electronics Mechanic
Attendant Operator Chemical Plant
Painter
Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
Foundryman

have passed the qualifying exam and been certified by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)
not have undergone or are presently undergoing apprenticeship training in the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) or elsewhere

Note:- Reservations to SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories are applicable as per the Apprentice Act.

The following candidates are ineligible for the apprenticeship training:-

Candidates who have been terminated from apprenticeship training at DRDL.
Candidates who are terminated two times from other establishments.

Benefits

The selected trainees will undergo one year of apprenticeship training in their respective trades and will be provided with a stipend as per Government of India notifications.

Documents

Candidates must attach copies of the following documents along with the application form (Appendix A):-

SSC certificate
Class 10 certificate/marksheet
ITI certificate and marksheet
Caste certificate (if applicable)
PwD certificate (if applicable)
Aadhaar card
Bank passbook
Self-attested passport-size photograph

Selected candidates are required to bring the above-mentioned documents along with the following at the time of joining:

Medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner
Police Verification Certificate,
Original certificates of the below:
- SSC, and ITI
- Caste (if applicable)
- PwD (if applicable)
Two recent passport-size photographs
