Chevening Gurukul Fellowships for Leadership and Excellence

The Chevening Gurukul Programme is the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s flagship fellowship scheme for India and it is aimed at mid-career and high-flying young professionals from diverse backgrounds with a strong and demonstrable leadership potential.

Every year twelve selected Gurukul Fellows are offered an intensive, twelve-week residential course at King’s College London in a stellar programme which familiarises India’s future leaders with best practice case-studies of leadership in the fields of government, innovation, health, and industry in the UK through a variety of standard and heterodox methods, ranging from seminars, role-playing scenarios, shadowing, and site visits.

Eligibility: 

Applicant should be a mid-career professional with strong leadership skills, having at least 10 years’ professional experience.

Monetary Support

Intensive, twelve-week residential course at King’s College London

The fellowship will provide:

All KCL study fees

Accommodation for fellows

A subsistence allowance

Return airfare from India to UK

Travel to and from London and local travel in London

Reimbursement of UK Visa Travel and accommodation on study visits

Duration: 12 weeks
