The Aditya birla group scholarship scheme instituted in 1999, awards scholarships to candidates who pursue ideas and spawning leaders with a passion to excel.

Eligibility:

• Student must be indian citizen
• Student should get admitted in iits (b. Tech): chennai, delhi, kanpur, kharagpur, mumbai, roorkee, guwahati and bits (pilani) campuses and law: national law school of india university – bangalore, nalsar university of law – hyderabad, the wb national university of juridical sciences – kolkata, national law university – jodhpur
• The students overall achievements, spanning academic and co-curricular excellence, are weighted and assessed. Those selected for the next round are asked to write an essay

Award:

The scholarship awards an amount of rs 65,000 per annum and rs 1,80,000 per annum.

The Aditya Birla scholarships cover a large part of academic fees as well as the hostel fees.
