The students who are joining the ph.d course can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility

The candidates who are doing ph.d in any one of the following subject is eligible

• Indian history and civilization
• Sociology
• Comparative studies in religion and culture
• Economics
• Geography
• Philosophy
• Ecology and environment

Students have to complete the graduation course and post-graduation course with minimum aggregate of 60% of marks or first class and the students have to be completed the graduation course and post-graduation course in regular basis or full time course with age limit not be more than 35 years old.

The candidates who are applying they have to do ph.d course with full time or regular basis are eligible for this scholarship.

Duration:

The duration period of is two years

Award

Every month they will get a scholarship of 18000 rupees per month. Including maintenance allowance and tuition fee and another fund is for purchasing books stationary and study tours and purchasing any equipment regarding the project they will give an amount of 15000 rupees per annum.
