World Bank Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program

The World Bank is a United Nations international financial institution that provides loans to developing countries for capital programs

The World Bank Robert S. McNamara (RSM) Fellowships Program is open to women and men of developing nations looking to pursue PhD research related to development. Applicants should currently be university lecturers or researchers residing in developing countries.

 Eligibility:

  • Applicant’s home country is a World Bank member developing country.
  • Applicant is currently enrolled in a PhD program in a World Bank member country.
  • Applicant must have completed all coursework and exam requirements for their PhD at the time of application.
  • Applicant must have a master’s degree.
  • Applicant is 35 years or younger.

Monetary Support:

The Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program will provide Grants of upto $25,000 and research under the supervision of a research advisor at a host institution abroad.

Duration: 5 to 10 Months
