Brief Description:
The West Bengal Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (WBAPS) is a program that provides financial assistance to youth undergoing apprenticeship training. The scheme is an initiative by the Department of Technical Education, Training, and Skill Development of the West Bengal government. The scheme helps up to 1 lakh youth every year.
Eligibility:
To apply for the WBAPS, candidates must provide supporting documents showing minimum 5 years schooling from an affiliated school in West Bengal. Candidates from states other than West Bengal are treated as General-category candidates.
