Social Entrepreneurship Opportunity

The Africa Governance Initiative is a Non-Profit organization set up in 2010 by Tony Blair. It primarily draws on Mr Blair’s political experience to dispense advice to African leaders and also works towards putting the infrastructure required for change in place. The Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF), Established in 1999 is a private family foundation working to improve the standard of living and quality of life for the world’s most impoverished and marginalized populations. We look for opportunities where our funding is the catalytic capital that seeds sustainable, transformational change. THE WORLD FOOD PRIZE is the foremost international award recognizing — without regard to race, religion, nationality, or political beliefs — the achievements of individuals who have advanced human development by improving the quality, quantity or availability of food in the world. The Prize recognizes contributions in any field involved in the world food supply — food and agriculture science and technology, manufacturing, marketing, nutrition, economics, poverty alleviation, political leadership and the social sciences.
