Kyron has introduced a new concept of pre-accelerator, which will admit about 20-25 startups. Such startups will be put through a six-month incubation period after which Kyron handpick the companies for its accelerator batches.

LalitAhuja, John Cook and Larry Glaeser. $50 million accelerator with $100,000 in seed funding for a 10 % equity in the startup. Plans to invest in two batches of 10 startups each year and to incubate 125 companies. First batch in February, 2013
