EdLighten is a boutique consulting firm which specialises in Masters, MBA and Undergraduate applications for students and working professionals. Co-Founded by two Young India Fellows 2 years ago, EdLighten helps students get through their dream universities. We have helped students with courses ranging from MBA, Master’s in Engineering management, Law, Public Policy, Computer Science, Engineering etc. We have managed to receive 500+ offers for our students with a total scholarship worth INR 10 cr+. We are looking for a professional who can drive growth and revenue for our business. An ideal candidate will exercise independent decision making with regard to progression. When confronted with unexpected research data, be able to make deductions, add insight, and draw conclusions to share with the core team.

Job Role:

Sales Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead Outreach:

Initiate first contact with potential leads via telephone calls, ensuring a professional and engaging conversation.

● CRM Management:

Update lead information, communication history, and any relevant details accurately in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity.

● Needs Assessment:

Conduct initial needs assessment of potential clients to understand their educational goals, challenges, and requirements.

● Product Knowledge:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of our education consulting services and stay updated on industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.

● Relationship Building:

Establish a rapport with leads, build trust, and address their concerns or queries promptly and professionally.

● Lead Qualification:

Identify and qualify potential leads based on predefined criteria to determine their suitability for further engagement.

● Sales Pipeline Management:

Collaborate with the sales team to track leads, monitor progress, and provide regular updates on lead conversion status.

● Follow-up Communication:

Execute timely follow-up calls to nurture leads and maintain a high level of engagement throughout the sales process.

● Sales Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate reports on lead generation, call activity, and conversion metrics to management as required.

● Collaboration:

Collaborate with other team members, including consultants and marketing, to enhance lead generation strategies and optimise sales efforts.

Ideal Candidate:

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
● Ability to actively listen, understand customer needs, and articulate solutions effectively.
● Strong customer service mindset with a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their educational goals and proficiency in using standard office software (e.g.,
MS Office, Google Suite).
● Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies as required.
● Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple leads and tasks concurrently and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

NOTE:

This will be a full time role with an expectation of at least 40 hours a week

Hiring Process:

Compensation:

INR 30,000-60,000 Per month (Depending on experience)
