Brief Description:

SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (G.C.S.S) 2024-25 is an opportunity provided by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)* for female students studying in Class 1 to 10. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students from economically disadvantaged families so they can continue their school education. A total of 300 female students will be awarded a one-time scholarship of ₹5,000 each annually.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a female currently studying in  Class 1 to 10 in a recognised school/institution
  • have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent in the previous academic year
  • have a monthly family income of less than ₹15,000

 

Note:- Marks criteria can be waived for physically disabled female students.

Benefits

300 selected girl children across India will receive ₹5,000 each annually.

Documents

  • A signed copy of the previous year’s report card from the recommending school’s principal
