Samvaad was chosen as the name of this gathering to encourage true “dialogue” between colleagues. The emphasis in dialogue is listening with curiosity, asking questions of clarification and avoiding giving advice or solutions. Letting our curiosity be greater than our criticality creates a context for new ides to emerge from within. Each of us will bring the gift of our own inquiry and the spirit of deep listening. We will take time to reflect and to engage in dialogue with others who want to learn more about themselves and the idea of leadership in our efforts in the field of education.
