CALL for Research Associate –

 BRICS project entitled HyWats “Hybrid Non Sewered

wastewater treatment system for safe discharge and reuse” under BRICS STI Framework

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Research Associate (RA) position to work

on the above mentioned project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology under the

supervision of Prof. Srikanth Mutnuri, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, K K Birla

Goa campus, Goa.

Title of the project:

 ““HyWats “Hybrid Non Sewered wastewater treatment system for safe

discharge and reuse” under BRICS STI Framework Programme Department of Science and

Technology ”

The projects aims to Design, development and demonstration of wastewater treatment and

recovery systems at pilot scale, with an aim to deliver recycled water without

micropollutants/emerging contaminants

Duration of the project: 

3 years

Project position: 

Research Associate

Fellowship amount:

 as per DST norms (INR 47,000 +9% HRA = Rs 51,230 p.m). As and when

the funding agency approves the revised RA salary, it will be paid accordingly.

Eligibility requirements: 

PhD in relevant field with experience in Electrochemical systems /

Bioelectrochemical systems/ Algal Biorefinery / Constructed wetlands.
