This examination is held every year for recruitment to the following post:

1. Sub-Inspectors/Platoon Commanders in Border Security Force (BSF)
2. Sub-Inspectors in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
3. Sub-Inspectors in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
4. Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

The examination is held generally in the month of May.

Age Limit :20-25yrs

Educational Qualification : Degree.
