Scholarships are awarded to students of Kerala origin who have qualified meritoriously in the Higher Secondary Examination, for pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree courses in Basic/ Natural Science in Institutions/ Universities in India. The objective of the program is to motivate aspiring students to higher studies and a career in Science

Call for applications from Students for pursuing higher education in Basic/Natural Sciences

KSCSTE, under its STARS (Students with Talent and Aptitude for Research in Science) programme invites applications from eligible candidates for the award of Prathibha Scholarship: 2023-24.

The Scheme aims to identify and nurture students who have qualified Higher Secondary Board Examination meritoriously from Kerala, to avail scholarship for pursuing U.G/Integrated P.G. courses in Basic/Natural Sciences in recognised institutions anywhere in India.

Applicants should have secured minimum 90% marks [80% for SC/ST] or equivalent grade in Higher Secondary Examination (both in Overall and Science Subjects total) and secured admission for 3- year U.G/5-year Integrated P.G. programme in Basic/Natural Sciences in the current academic year (2023-24)

Prathibha scholarship is awarded initially for 3-year U.G (first 3-years of Integrated P.G) Course. Continuation of scholarship for P.G (subsequent years of Integrated P.G.) course is subject to scoring minimum aggregate marks of 75% for the U.G(first three years of Integrated P.G.)course.
