Brief Description

Nokia Scholarship 2022 is an initiative of the Nokia Foundation for students pursuing a doctoral degree in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) or in clearly related supporting scientific disciplines. The scholarship is intended to encourage efficient, fast-progressing doctoral studies and research. The scholarship will be granted for doctoral studies in a Finnish university or to a Finnish applicant for doctoral studies abroad. The selected candidate will receive a scholarship grant of up to 6,000 euros.
The Nokia Foundation promotes and supports scientific development and education throughout Finland’s information and telecommunications
technology sectors. The foundation offers annual grants and awards to the most qualified applicants.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –
1. Be pursuing a doctoral degree in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) or in clearly related supporting scientific discipline

Note – The scholarship will be granted for doctoral studies in a Finnish university or to a Finnish applicant for doctoral studies abroad.

Benefits

The Nokia Foundation will grant a scholarship of up to 6 000 euros.
Note – A scholarship can be granted only once to the same individual.
