Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme 2024

Brief Description:

Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme 2024 is a merit-based scholarship initiative of the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation (a non-profit organisation set up by an endowment from Mr. Narotam Sekhsaria) to financially support meritorious Indian students who are willing to pursue higher studies from top-ranking institutions in India and abroad. The selected students will be awarded interest-free education loan and mentorship for guiding them through their academic and professional queries.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be below 30 years of age as of January 31, 2024
  • hold a graduate degree from an accredited Indian university (Note:- Final-year students or those awaiting results are also eligible.)
  • be planning to pursue a postgraduate degree at a top-ranking institution in India or abroad starting in Fall 2024

Note:- Applicants awaiting university acceptance are eligible, but the scholarship award is contingent upon securing admission.

Benefits

The selected candidate will receive an interest-free scholarship loan to pursue higher studies at top institutions along with mentorship guidance.

Note:- Repayment of the interest-free scholarship loan will begin one year after course completion, with 30% due at the beginning of the second year, 35% at the beginning of the third year, and 35% at the beginning of the fourth year.

Documents

  • Attested copies of marksheets of the following:
    • Undergraduate study (all years)
    • Postgraduate study (if applicable)
  • Attested copies of scorecards from any qualifying examination taken (e.g., GRE, GMAT, CAT, GATE)
  • Acceptance letter, including the fee structure
  • Reference letter
  • Documentation of funding from any other scholarships, awards, fee waivers, etc.
  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parent(s)/guardian(s)
  • A copy of a valid passport (if applicable)
  • Disabled certificate (if applicable)

Note:- The Foundation may request additional documents to verify information provided.
