The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and joint Entrance Exam (JEE) will be conducted twice in a year from 2019 by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
NTA will also conduct the UGC NET and CMAT examination.
Meanwhile, JEE Advanced would continue to be conducted by the IITs.

JEE(Main) in Jan 2019 and April 2019:
Jan 2019

  • Application Process: 01.09.2018 to 30.09.2018
  • Dates of Examination: Between 06.01.2019 to 20.01.2019
  • Declaration of Results: First week of Feb 2019
  • April 2019
  • Application process: Second week of Feb 2019
  • Dates of examination: Between 07.04.2019 to 21.04.2019
  • Declaration of results: First week of May 2019

    • The tests would be computer based. The exams would be held over a span of four-five days and students would have the option of choosing the dates.
    The syllabus, questions formats, language and fees for the exams would not be changed.
