The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) is calling applications for doctoral, postdoctoral senior fellowships for 2018-19. Fellowship is available for Indian scholars.

The main objective of ICSSR Postdoctoral fellowship

The main objective of ICSSR Postdoctoral Fellowships is to encourage and retain young Indian Social Science scholars who have completed their PhD and who wish to pursue a regular career in teaching and research. Senior fellowships are awarded to outstanding Indian Social Scientists for conducting full-time research on themes and issues of national and social concerns.

Scholarship Description:

  • Application Deadline: The last date for online submission of applications on August 14, 2018, and a hard copy of the same should reach ICSSR latest by 21st August 2018
  • Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue Doctoral, Postdoctoral and senior Fellowship
  • Study Subjects: The proposal should be in the field of social science disciplines or may be interdisciplinary in nature
