Brief Description:

Dharmasthala Scholarship, also known as Sujnananidhi Scholarship, is an initiative by SKDRDP (Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project) for students pursuing technical and professional courses of duration 2 to 5 years. A monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 400/- to Rs. 1000/- is provided for students’ education, depending on the selected course prescribed by the institute. So far, more than 72 thousand students across Karnataka state have benefited from this program, with over Rs. 87 crores in scholarships disbursed.

In this article, we will provide detailed information on Dharmasthala Scholarship (Sujnananidhi Scholarship), including eligibility criteria, required documents, the application process, eligible courses,last date etc. So, read till the end to not miss any information.

• Only one student from the family of a member of the scheme sponsoring association is allowed to apply.
• Only children of members of non-sub-standard societies in S, A+, A, and B categories, which were started before 30.06.2022 and have an ongoing progress fund, can apply.
• Only first-semester students enrolled in college after 01.04.2023 can apply. (The college confirmation letter must have the clear signature and seal of the College Principal.)
• The student should have a savings account in banks with an IFSC CODE. The bank passbook must have the signature and seal of the bank manager, and transactions in the account should be ongoing for the last three months.
• There is no opportunity to apply directly for the 2nd year.
• Sujnananidhi Scholarship will be granted in the amount of Rs. 4,000/- to Rs. 10,000/- per annum for selected professional and technical education courses of 2 to 5 years’ duration chosen by the institution according to the academic year.
