C-CAT

DESCRIPTION:

The Nationwide Entrance Examination C-CAT ( C DAC’s Common Admission Test) is conducted by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C DAC) for admission to 24 weeks full time PG Diploma programs. The programs are offered at 30 centres in 18 cities in India. The PG Diploma programs are offered in Advanced Computing, Wireless and Mobile computing, VLSI Design, Embedded system Design, IT Infrastructure, systems and security, System software development, Automation and SCADA Systems, Healthcare Informatics and Geo Informatics.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Graduate in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. BE / BTech / 4-year BSc Engg / AMIE / DoEACC B Level) in IT / Computer Science/ Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation.
  • Post Graduate Degree in Engineering Sciences with corresponding basic degree (e.g. MSc in Computer Science, IT, Electronics
  • Candidates with specific post-graduate diplomas are eligible for specific programmes. For further details check the following website.

MODE OF TEST: Online. One can opt to use one’s own laptop.

EXAM DATE: Usually in June

APPLICATION FEE:

Minimum ₹. 1000/- Could be more depending on the no. of parts of test the candidate is appearing for and use of one’s own laptop or to be provided by the exam centre. Check the following link for further details.
