Brief Description:

Biju Yuba Sashaktikaran Yojana for ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/GENERAL/EBC Communities, Odisha 2023 is an opportunity offered by the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, to general/ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC students of the state. The selected meritorious students will receive financial assistance of ₹30,000 for the purchase of a laptop.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a domicile of Odisha
  • belong to the General/ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC community*
  • have passed the higher secondary examination (Class 12) in science/arts/commerce/vocational stream conducted by CHSE, Odisha, or Upashastri Examination conducted by Shree Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya (SJSV) for the respective year

Note:- 

  • ST refers to the Scheduled Caste community.
  • SC refers to the Scheduled Tribe community.
  • OBC refers to the Other Backward Classes community.
  • SEBC refers to the Socially and Economically Backward Classes.
  • EBC refers to the Economically Backward Classes.

Benefits

Selected meritorious students will receive financial assistance of ₹30,000 for the purchase of a laptop.

The amount will be directly credited to the student’s bank account.
