The Aleksanteri Institute Finnish Centre for Russian and Eastern European Studies functions as a national centre of research, study and expertise pertaining to Russia and Eastern Europe, particularly in the social sciences and humanities.
The programme provides an opportunity for highly qualified scholars to conduct research and interact with other researchers at the Aleksanteri Institute and with the wider academic community at the University of Helsinki and in Finland.
Eligibility:
Monetary Support: The fellowship carries a monthly grant of €3,000 to cover all expenses related to the stay in Helsinki (e.g. accommodation, travel, insurance, visas).
