Brief Description

Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship for ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/GENERAL/EBC Communities 2022-23, Odisha is an opportunity offered by the Labour & ESI Department, Government of Odisha to General/ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC students. Under this scholarship scheme, the students fulfilling the eligibility criteria will receive up to INR 40,000 per annum.

Eligibility

To be eligible, a candidate must –
• be a permanent resident of Odisha state
• belong to General/ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC category
• have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the previous qualifying examination for different categories of merit scholarships

Educational Assistance (on completion of 1 year) Benefits (INR) per annum
For Class 6 and 7 to girl children 2,000
For Class 8 to all children 2,000
For Class 9 to all children 3,000
For Class 10 to all children 4,000
Cash award to all children securing 90% or above in Class 10 10,000
For Class 11 and 12 5,000
For B.A., B.Sc.,B.Com. and PG studies 7,000
For B.Tech./BCA/MBA/B.Arch./M.Arch./M.Tech./M.Sc./B.Pharma./Hotel Management and catering services/Medical (includes allopathic, ayurvedic and homoeopathic) in Government colleges only 40,000
For B.Ed/CT/Nursing training in Government colleges 10,000

Note – 20% additional benefit to the girl child of beneficiary over and above normal assistance.
