The Kinship Conservation Fellows is a leadership program that aims to explore innovative market-based approaches to environmental issues.

It provides practical, hands-on instruction in market-based approaches and business principles to select groups of high potential individuals who seek to hone their leadership abilities.

About the Fellowship

The kinship conservation expects the candidates should be conservation leaders with five years of experience, who are deeply committed to conservation, involved with the implementation of market-based approaches to solve environmental problems, and ready to be part of an expanding community of global leaders.In return, we ask Fellows to invest a month of their time with us.

Eligibility:

Possess a minimum of a four-year college degree (or its overseas equivalent)
Have a minimum of five years relevant work experience after your degree
Be proficient in spoken and written English
Be a conservation practitioner (rather than an academic or researcher)

A proposed project describing an environmental issue related to your work and your plans for developing a solution using market approaches will be a key part of your application. Successful applicants will be familiar with business and economic principles and be in a work environment where these principles can be integrated with conservation work.
