Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) has officially opened the call for applications for the 2024 GCSP Prize for Transformative Futures in Peace and Security.
The prize aims to recognize innovative concepts with exceptional potential in addressing peace and security challenges. Applications from any country are welcome, emphasizing concepts that transcend national borders in their scope or thinking. Eligible fields include transformative technologies, pandemics, biothreats, autonomous weapons, climate change, human rights, cybersecurity, education, or disarmament, to name a few.
The winners (first, second, and third place) will be publicly announced during an event in May 2024. The first-place winner will be rewarded with a fully funded 2-month incubation program at GCSP’s Creative Spark in Geneva (valued at CHF 15,000) and a certificate of excellence. The other two finalists will receive certificates of recognition. For more details, please visit: https://www.gcsp.ch/events/apply-2024-gcsp-prize-transformative-futures-peace-and-security.
