K.C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad 2024

Brief Description:

K. C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad 2024 is an opportunity offered by the K. C. Mahindra Education Trust, a public charitable trust, for graduate students who are willing to pursue postgraduate studies abroad in various fields. The objective of this scholarship is to support deserving and needy students and help them continue their higher education. The selected scholars will receive an interest-free loan scholarship of a maximum of ₹10,00,000 for the top three fellows and a maximum of ₹5,00,000 for the remaining successful applicants.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:- 

  • be an Indian citizen
  • possess a first-class degree or equivalent diploma of similar standard from a recognised university
  • have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputable foreign universities for courses commencing from August 2024 but not later than February 2025

Note:- 

  • Students going abroad for undergraduate studies, seminars, and conferences are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Candidates studying in the final year of degree or diploma courses are eligible to apply. They must provide their final year marksheet or provisional certificate from the institute before the end of June, confirming completion of their degree/diploma course with first class.

Benefits

The selected candidates will receive an interest-free loan scholarship as follows:

  • A maximum of ₹10,00,000 per scholar will be awarded to the top 3 K.C. Mahindra fellows.
  • A maximum of ₹5,00,000 per scholar will be awarded to the remaining successful applicants.

 

Note:- The candidates coming from outside Mumbai are only reimbursed for their travel expenses and not for accommodation.

Documents

  • A copy of the admission letter
  • A letter of recommendation from a referee (Note: The letter should be on the letterhead of the institute or company)
  • A short statement regarding the candidate’s general aptitude and interest, including the type of vocation they would like to pursue, as well as their ambitions and aspirations in life
  • A copy of the GRE/GMAT score (if applicable)
  • A copy of the IELTS/TOEFL score (if applicable)
  • Evidence of course and degree certificates with mark sheets
  • Rank certificate (if applicable)
  • A copy of Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Evidence of age (self-attested copy)
  • A copy of an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
