University of Bath GREAT Scholarship, India 2024

Brief Description:

University of Bath GREAT Scholarship, India 2024 is an opportunity offered by the University of Bath in collaboration with the British Council’s Study UK campaign. Under this programme, students from 15 countries including India will receive financial support to pursue postgraduate study in the UK. A selected Indian student will receive a partial tuition fee of £10,000 for one year of study.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be an Indian passport holder
  • hold an offer from the University of Bath to pursue a full-time, postgraduate taught master’s course starting in 2024
  • have an outstanding academic background or relevant work experience
  • be classified as an international student for tuition fee purposes*

 

*Note:- The students will pay the full international tuition fees for their chosen postgraduate course. This scholarship is intended to partially offset this cost, but applicants will still be responsible for the remaining fees.

Benefits

A selected Indian student will receive a partial tuition fee of £10,000 for one year of study.

Documents

  • A valid passport
  • Copy of visa (if applicable)
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • A scanned copy of the undergraduate degree certificate
  • A scanned copy of the postgraduate degree certificate, (if any)
  • A scanned copy of the final degree transcript or the most recent transcript, (if the applicant is still studying)
  • Payment slip of the application fee, if applicable
  • A personal statement, explaining the reasons for wishing to study the course
  • Proof of English proficiency, if English is not the applicant’s first language
  • An authorised translation of the degree certificate and transcript, if they are not in English
  • English language test certificate (if available)
  • An academic reference from the current or most recent place of study (Note:- It is required only when the applicant has one or a professional reference and doesn’t have an academic reference available from the last 10 years)
  • Fee status information including
    • Name of the country in which the applicant has lived for the past three years
    • Name of the home country
    • Applicant’s immigration status
