Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) 2023-24 is an initiative of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)*, to provide financial assistance to wards of serving Army personnel studying from Class 9 to professional/postgraduate courses. The selected students will receive up to ₹10,000 per annum and a merit certificate.
*The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) is a regulatory body that manages and ensures proper education facilities for children of Indian Army personnel through Local Military Authorities.
Note:– Wards of Retired Army personnel, Territorial Army personnel (TA), and deceased Army personnel are not eligible.
The selected students will receive the following scholarship based on the level of education for all categories, along with a merit certificate:-
